Type
A zero-play 70 mm steering-wheel quick release with optional USB data passthrough.

The Sim-Lab XERO-PLAY V2 uses a machined-aluminium push-to-lock, lever-release mechanism. The connected base and wheel side measure 62 mm, with a 70 mm PCD and M5 mounting pattern.

Why choose this product?

  • The zero-play connection locks with a positive click for a rigid coupling and quick wheel changes.
  • Optional USB passthrough routes wheel data through the quick release, reducing external cable clutter.

Compatibility

Platform: Sim-Lab does not specify standalone PC, Xbox or PlayStation support for the XERO-PLAY V2. Its published compatibility is based on the 70 mm PCD mount and supported USB/8-pin connections.

Connection and ecosystem: Manufacturer-verified for wheelbases with a 70 mm PCD mount. Current Sim-Lab and GRID Engineering wheels use the native 8-pin interface; third-party USB wheels use the supplied USB-C stubby cable.

Requirements: USB passthrough is optional. Internal cables for Ascher, BavarianSimTec, GSI and VPG are available from Sim-Lab on request. Fanatec hub and Simucube wireless link protocols are not supported.
