An aluminium-profile cockpit built around three wheel-mount choices, a wide pedal deck and a 1350 mm assembled length.

The Sim-Lab P1X Ultimate is a modular sim-racing cockpit for high-end wheelbases, pedals and accessories. The current Sim-Lab specification lists an assembled footprint of 1350 mm long, 580 mm wide at the main frame, 680 mm at the widest point and 770 mm high. A seat, brackets and slider are separate options.

Three wheel-mount routes—Front Mount, Wheeldeck or Fanatec DD Mount—let the cockpit be configured around the wheelbase instead of forcing one universal mounting solution.

Wheel mounting options

Sim-Lab offers the P1X Ultimate with a Front Mount, Wheeldeck or Fanatec DD Mount. The correct choice depends on the exact wheelbase. For a MOZA R25 Ultra, Sim-Lab currently lists compatibility through the Wheeldeck route rather than the Front Mount.

Cockpit dimensions and adjustment

The manufacturer specifies 1350 x 580 x 770 mm (L x W x H), with 680 mm at the widest point. These are assembled product dimensions, not carton dimensions. The profile construction supports wheel, pedal and seating adjustment.

Mounting and upgrade path

The standard package includes the aluminium profiles, mounting materials, the selected wheel-mount solution, front-mount brackets, pedal deck, side accessory mounts, seat-mounting bolts and adjustable feet. Monitor mounts and seating hardware are optional.

Compatibility

Platform: The cockpit is platform-independent; platform support comes from the installed electronics.

Connection and ecosystem: Current manufacturer compatibility depends on the selected Sim-Lab wheel mount. The MOZA R25 Ultra is listed for the Wheeldeck. Sim Race Webshop also retains previously tested/approved Wheeldeck compatibility for MOZA R9, R12, R16 and R21 models from the legacy product record; these retained models are SRW-tested knowledge rather than a current Sim-Lab claim.

Requirements: Choose the mounting option that matches the exact wheelbase. For the MOZA R25 Ultra, use the Sim-Lab P1X Pro Wheeldeck, which Sim-Lab lists for the P1X Ultimate. Seat, brackets and slider are not included.

Can I mount a MOZA R25 Ultra on the P1X Ultimate?

Yes, but the current Sim-Lab compatibility information places the MOZA R25 Ultra on the Wheeldeck-compatible list. It is not listed as a Front Mount wheelbase, so select the Wheeldeck route for this base.

What is the difference between Front Mount and Wheeldeck?

Front Mount supports wheelbases that bolt through their front or side mounting pattern, while Wheeldeck provides a deck-style mounting surface for bases that use bottom mounting. Sim-Lab publishes separate compatibility lists for the two options.

What are the assembled dimensions of the P1X Ultimate?

Sim-Lab specifies 1350 mm length, 580 mm main-frame width, 680 mm at the widest point and 770 mm height. These are product dimensions for the assembled cockpit rather than packaging measurements.

Is a seat included with the cockpit?

No. The P1X Ultimate package includes bolts for mounting a seat, but the seat, seat brackets and seat slider are listed by Sim-Lab as optional items and must be selected separately.

Can I use older MOZA bases that were listed on the previous SRW product page?

Fanatec DD

Duurzaam, de cockpit die een leven lang mee gaat!

Zeer stabiele en nette cockpit. Deze is totaal flex-vrij, als een tank! Het kost een paar centen, maar na deze investering hoef je nooit meer een andere cockpit te kopen. Het enige minpuntje vond ik, dat vrijwel elk voor-getapt draadgat moest worden "opgefrist". Bij de set hebben ze daar wel aan gedacht, want er komt een M8 bout bij met een sleuteltje om dit te doen. Echter is dit met dit setje gewoonweg niet te doen, het sleuteltje is veel te klein en de bout is gewoon "een bout". Om dit goed te doen heb je een draad-tap nodig (metrisch M8x1.25). Daarmee gaat het goed. Als die voor getapte gaten goed waren geweest, was het zeker een 5 sterren geworden. Persoonlijk vind ik, voor deze prijs, de fabrikant óf had moeten zorgen dat al die gaten goed waren, óf een echte draadtap had moeten mee leveren. Verder zit er voldoende extra materiaal bij om je gear op de cockpit te bevestigen.
Levering was zoals gewoonlijk van deze webshop weer super snel. Goede klantenservice en vriendelijk!

It really is the ultimate racing cockpit. It does take a bit of time to assemble, and it's a shame there aren't clear instructions included. But once it's up and running, it's incredibly sturdy. I highly recommend it.
