Product details
Webbing, adjustment and mounting
Formula H-7 uses 2-inch FHR webbing, a lightweight buckle and pull-down adjustment. Shoulder loop fixings attach to suitable chassis pins; the lap and crotch mounting plates have 13 mm bolt holes. The required chassis bolts are not included.
Choose the right configuration for your cockpit
A reclined Formula seating position changes the mounting arrangement you need to plan. Compare the fittings against your chassis before choosing this model. Select the required variant before ordering; the article number identifies that exact configuration.
Compatibility and setup
For motorsport use, this FHR-specific configuration must be paired with the appropriate HANS or other frontal head restraint.
The seat, harness and anchorage layout must be suitable for one another. Follow the manufacturer's fitting instructions for belt angles, wrap-around methods and mounting hardware. FIA homologation does not by itself establish road legality or compatibility with every cockpit. Check the harness label for its actual validity date before competition use.
Recommended products
For a simulator build, consider the Qubic System QS-BT1 alongside this harness. Confirm shoulder-webbing width, routing, anchor points and any required adapters against the QS-BT1 installation guide before ordering. This Formula harness uses a specialised mounting layout, so it should not be treated as a direct-fit saloon or tensioner harness.
Compare other configurations in our Seat Belts collection. For seating options, explore the Sabelt GT-Pad modular race seat and verify that its belt openings and mounting arrangement suit your planned installation.

Frequently asked questions
Which FIA approval does this harness have?
FIA 8853-2016. Check the label on the supplied harness for the exact homologation and validity before entering an event.
Will this Formula harness fit a conventional simulator seat?
Check the loop or plate fittings, seat openings and anchorage geometry first. A Formula-specific harness is not automatically a direct fit for a saloon cockpit or belt tensioner.
Is a HANS or other FHR required?
For motorsport use, this FHR-specific configuration must be paired with the appropriate HANS or other frontal head restraint.
Colours and finishes may vary slightly with lighting and screen settings. Product images can show alternative colours; the selected variant determines the supplied configuration. Always follow the harness manufacturer's installation and inspection instructions.
